On Friday, East Mills are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Lamoni at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
East Mills took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past East Union 42-0.
Meanwhile, Lamoni had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Lamoni weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 42-46 to Stanton last week.
East Mills's win lifted them to 1-0 while Lamoni's loss dropped them down to 0-1. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
