  Drake Webster was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits over 4.2 innings pitched. Webster was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Brayton Cary was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Isaiah Lohret, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Salem has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record  this season. As for Loudonville Christian, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
 Salem will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Corinth at 4:30  p.m. Salem is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season.
