The Emmanuel Christian Warriors's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 46-42 win over Kinston.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Emmanuel Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Donald Adams, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Adams pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Culp, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Emmanuel Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Kinston, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emmanuel Christian will square off against Pike Liberal Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kinston, they will head out on the road to square off against Elba at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
