 Skylar Young put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched four innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run and two  runs.
 Young wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Brynlee Pafford, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  run.
North Florida Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for St. John Paul II, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-12.
As of now, neither North Florida Christian nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
