Nauset Regional's Jimmy Sullivan rumbled for the longest rushing play in Atlantic Coast this season in his game against Cardinal Spellman last week. Sullivan's team topped the Cardinals as he sprinted for 81 yards on the play and finished with 147 in all.
Dennis-Yarmouth Regional was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to third in the league.
Nauset Regional's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sullivan threw for 14 yards and Braden Wilson had 14 yards receiving.
Nauset Regional's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sullivan has thrown for 186 yards this season, while Wilson has four catches for 102 yards. Sullivan also leads the league in rushing with 542 yards.
A big matchup in Atlantic Coast this week will be when the Dolphins take on Plymouth North. Dennis-Yarmouth Regional is in third place, while the Eagles are in fifth place.
Keith Kenyon's team was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Cardinal Spellman 20-14. The Warriors came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
