The Bonnabel Bruins were the 37-31 winner over the Lutcher Bulldogs when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Bonnabel might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Lutcher an easy 58-35 win.
Bonnabel lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jalaya Lee, who scored ten points. Miyah Haddad was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Bonnabel's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lutcher, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Bonnabel will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Plaquemines at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Lutcher, they will head out on the road to face off against Wright at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
