Football Game Preview: Monmouth Regional Falcons vs. Manchester Township Hawks + How To Watch

The Monmouth Regional Falcons will challenge the Manchester Township Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Manchester Township took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Monmouth Regional, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Monmouth Regional beat Toms River East 13-9.

Monmouth Regional's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Corwin led the charge by throwing for 199 yards and one TD, while also rushing for 34 yards and one touchdown. Those 34 rushing yards gave Corwin a new career-high. A healthy portion of Corwin's aerial production (83 yards to be exact) went to Jaylin Reeves, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Manchester Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 33-22 to Toms River South. On the bright side, the 22- point performance marked the Hawks' highest-scoring contest to date.

Monmouth Regional will have to contain Cameron Longsworth as he made an impact in Manchester Township's last game. He rushed for 148 yards and one score on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Malik Pharmes, who rushed for 84 yards and one TD.

Manchester Township's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Monmouth Regional, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Monmouth Regional was dealt a bruising 42-12 loss at the hands of Manchester Township in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Falcons, Aidan Lunn (who threw for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 86 yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
