The Vestaburg Wolverines lost against the Sacred Heart Academy Irish back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Vestaburg was beaten by the Irish 62-13. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Vestaburg has scored all season.
Vestaburg dropped their record down to 7-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sacred Heart Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vestaburg will face off against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Coleman is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Sacred Heart Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Breckenridge is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
