Frankfort is on a six-game streak of home losses, Danville a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Frankfort Hot Dogs will welcome the Danville Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Frankfort was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to Crawfordsville. While the Hot Dogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Athenians 19-11 in the first quarter.

Despite the defeat, Frankfort had strong showings from RJ Cornman, who went 7 for 13 en route to 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, and Lucas Waggoner, who posted 13 points and five boards. Those eight rebounds gave Cornman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Beardsley, who put up two points and nine boards.
Meanwhile, Danville came up short against Tri-West Hendricks on Friday and fell 72-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (62), the Warriors still had to take the loss.
Frankfort will need focus on slowing down Cameron Mcmahon, one of several Danville players who made an impact when they last played. He went 9 of 15 on his way to 23 points and five rebounds. Steven Webb was another key player, going 8 for 15 en route to 17 points and five boards.
Even though they lost, Danville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matches.
Frankfort's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Danville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Frankfort has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 23.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Danville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
