The Logos Prep Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 79-56 defeat to Cypress Christian might stick with them for a while. Logos Prep Academy has struggled against Cypress Christian recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Logos Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: Caleb Sedgwick scored 18 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Bromberg, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Logos Prep Academy dropped their record down to 4-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Cypress Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-16.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Bay Area Christian the next time they take the court. Cypress Christian will head out to face Bay Area Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Logos Prep Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
