The Swan Valley Vikings will be playing at home against the Hemlock Huskies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Swan Valley: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Hemlock has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
Last Friday, Swan Valley came up short against Glenn and fell 38-30.
Meanwhile, Hemlock was the victim of a tough 51-31 defeat at the hands of Frankenmuth on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hemlock has scored all season.
The losing side was boosted by Lauren Borsenik, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.
Swan Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Hemlock, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3.
Swan Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hemlock in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 44-38 victory. Does Swan Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hemlock turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
