The Woodlawn-Shreveport Knights fell victim to the Huntington Raiders''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Raiders 44-0. Woodlawn-Shreveport just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Despite the loss, Woodlawn-Shreveport still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Kennedy, who rushed for 86 yards on only ten carries.
Jamarion Washington was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Willis, who rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Woodlawn-Shreveport's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Huntington, the win was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Woodlawn-Shreveport will head out on the road to face off against Bossier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bossier is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Huntington, they will be playing at home against North DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North DeSoto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 352 points over their last seven contests.
