Even though the Harmony Science Academy Tigers have not done well against KIPP University Prep recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Harmony Science Academy secured a 41-35 W over KIPP University Prep. For Harmony Science Academy, this counts as revenge for the 81-70 defeat KIPP University Prep walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2018.
Despite the loss, KIPP University Prep still got an impressive performance from Sergio Murillo, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 57.1% of KIPP University Prep's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Apolinar, who scored nine points along with two steals.
The win got Harmony Science Academy back to even at 1-1. As for KIPP University Prep, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.
Harmony Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. KIPP University Prep also has no future games currently scheduled.
