The Westview Warriors were the 52-29 winner over the Garrett Railroaders when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Westview fell to Garrett 40-34. Westview has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

That's the first time this season that Cory posted two or more blocks. Olivia Bontrager was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Westview has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which is still a better percentage than their 4-15 record this season. As for Garrett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westview and Angola will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Angola presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Westview in Indiana (Angola is ranked 135th, while Westview is ranked 335th). Garrett on the road again on Tuesday and play against Bellmont at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th.
