Aquinas Institute ended up on the wrong side of a tough 35-14 walloping at the hands of McQuaid Jesuit. Aquinas Institute has struggled against McQuaid Jesuit recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Aquinas Institute saw an underclassman step up: Trent Buttles rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 169 yards and a touchdown.
Aquinas Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for McQuaid Jesuit, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
