Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Delaware Academy Bulldogs walked away with it. They breezed by Newark Valley on the road to the tune of 27-0. The win was familiar territory for Delaware Academy who now have six in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Tanner Bracchy, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 74 receiving yards.
Delaware Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Newark Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Delaware Academy will square off against Tioga at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tioga is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Newark Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
