Matthew Metzger Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Northern Cass's Matthew Metzger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metzger produced his best game of the campaign on Friday: he picked up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 88 yards.
Northern Cass is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. Metzger and Northern Cass will face off against Hillsboro/Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Matthew Hoppe Makes It Two for Northern Cass
Another Northern Cass player making an appearance on this list is Matthew Hoppe. He rushed for 91 yards.
If the past is any indication, Hoppe could be in store for another big game when he takes on Hillsboro/Central Valley on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hoppe saw the H-CV Burros), he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
