Millbrook has gone a perfect 8-0 against Knightdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will head out to face off against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Millbrook is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
On Wednesday, Millbrook beat Garner 14-11. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Millbrook got a great performance from Reece Kuhns as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 5.2 innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave Kuhns a new career-high.
At the plate, Jack Strom was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Heath, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Knightdale came into Wednesday's match having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over South Garner on Wednesday. The Knights not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 28th.
Taybron Simpson made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Simpson was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Knightdale let Maximo Jimenez and Manley Cosper run wild. Jimenez got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI, while Cosper scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Cosper has become a key player for Knightdale: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-12 otherwise. Gary Rodriguez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Knightdale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Millbrook's record is now 15-6. As for Knightdale, their record now sits at 5-13.
Knightdale's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Millbrook has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .466. It's a different story for Knightdale, though, as they've only averaged .363. Will they be able to contain Millbrook's hitters?
Millbrook skirted past Knightdale 4-3 when the teams last played on Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
