West Bend East had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Random Lake Rams on Wednesday. The Suns haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Violet Zier paced West Bend East's offense, picking up six kills. Zier got some help from Lydia Hoier and her nine assists. Hoier was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

West Bend East has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Amherst on the 27th. As for Random Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. Mary Catholic on the 27th.
