Greenhill proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans. The win was nothing new for the Hornets as they're now sitting on five straight.
Connor Lee was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one triple. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
Greenhill's record is now 9-13. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
