The Battle Ground Tigers kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 78-29 loss at the hands of Evergreen. Battle Ground has not had much luck with Evergreen recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Kimora Ross went supernova for Evergreen, scoring 32 points. Adrian Wright was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Battle Ground's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Evergreen, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
Battle Ground will head out on the road to face off against Hockinson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Evergreen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Seton Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
