Aurora Central kept up with Gateway until halftime  on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Olympians never let the Trojans get on the board and left with  a   3-0  win. Considering Gateway have won four matches by more than two  goals this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Sa'Mya Shazier and  Dayanara Vazquez scored all three of Gateway's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.
The  victory made it two in a row for Gateway and  bumps their season record up to 5-3-4. The  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored nine  goals over those two  contests. As for Aurora Central, their defeat was  their sixth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 2-9-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gateway is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Thornton  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Aurora Central will  take on  rival Adams City  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
