Fishers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ben Davis Giants 71-36. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on 14 straight dating back to last season.
Jason Gardner was a one-man wrecking crew for Fishers as he went 11 of 15 en route to 23 points along with seven boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave Gardner a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Zachary, who posted nine points and three steals.
Loss or not, Ben Davis got some senior leadership from Tavion Williams and Justin Parks. Williams went 6 of 7 on his way to 12 points, while Parks put up four points.
Fishers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 91-63 win against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical on the 30th. As for Ben Davis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-45 victory against Zionsville on the 30th.
