Addison Jones made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Natalie Martinez was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Karina Garcia also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Maxwell came up short against Durham on Tuesday, falling 14-1.
Los Molinos' win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Maxwell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
