The Burlington Township Falcons entered their tilt with the Pennsauken Indians with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Burlington Township enjoyed a cozy 58-44 victory over Pennsauken on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Burlington Township also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.
It was another big night for Aaron Ferguson, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Quayd Hendryx, who scored 12 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Burlington Township has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Pennsauken, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burlington Township will challenge Pemberton at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Pemberton and Burlington Township are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Pennsauken, they will head out on the road to face off against Westampton Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Westampton Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Wednesday.
