There's no place like home for the Greenville Christian Academy Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They took down Eastern Christian HomeSchool 58-42 on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Greenville Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Greenville Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew Dove, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aaron Swanner, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Greenville Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Eastern Christian HomeSchool, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Greenville Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Ahoskie Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ahoskie Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 638th, while Greenville Christian Academy is ranked 315th). Eastern Christian HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on DASH at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
