Westfield School has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Westfield School didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Patriots, but they still walked away with a 51-47 win. Given Westfield School's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Patriots are ranked 274th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, St. Anne-Pacelli came tearing into Saturday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 43-38 victory over Greater Atlanta Christian.
Westfield School's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Westfield School suffered a grim 51-28 defeat to the Vikings in their previous meeting back in January. Can Westfield School avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
