Trinity Christian has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Faith Christian Academy Conquerors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Trinity Christian posted their biggest win since November 2, 2023 on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 61-33 win over Christ Covenant.
It was another big night for Carter Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Trinity Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brentley Lee, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though New Bern Christian Academy scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, Faith Christian Academy still came out on top. Faith Christian Academy took their contest against New Bern Christian Academy 67-58. The win made it back-to-back wins for Faith Christian Academy.
Trinity Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Faith Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Everything went Trinity Christian's way against Faith Christian Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as Trinity Christian made off with a 61-38 win.
