Cambridge Rindge & Latin may have come out ahead in their last matchup, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they take on Lincoln-Sudbury at Russell Field at 7:00 PM. Cambridge Rindge & Latin aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
After having lost a blowout to Arlington in their previous game, Cambridge Rindge & Latin were happy to find some success last Friday. Cambridge Rindge & Latin had just enough and edged out Watertown 21-19.
Lincoln-Sudbury won against Central two weeks ago with 35 points, and Lincoln-Sudbury decided to stick to that point total again. Lincoln-Sudbury made easy work of Melrose and carried off a 35-13 win. With Lincoln-Sudbury ahead 28-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Lincoln-Sudbury to 2-0 and Cambridge Rindge & Latin to 1-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Lincoln-Sudbury and Cambridge Rindge & Latin clash.
