 On the hitting side,  Eli Chowning was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Jackson Meyers was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  RBI and one  double.
 Carolina Forest  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Princeton only posted  an  OBP of  .211.
Carolina Forest has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Princeton,  they are  on  a  20-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-20.
 Carolina Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Princeton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  12-2  loss against Shady Spring on the 28th.
