Wes-Del waltzed into their game on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Muncie Central Bearcats as they made off with a 17-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly 17 runs.
Devyn Jaycox was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
