Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Central). Everything went their way against the South Dearborn Knights on Thursday as they made off with an 8-1 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

East Central pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matchups. As for South Dearborn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, East Central will square off against Columbus East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Central are facing Columbus East at the right time seeing as Columbus East are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for South Dearborn, they will challenge Taylor at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Dearborn's defense better be ready for this one: Taylor have averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season.
