Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lake Mary walked away with it. They came out on top against the Seminole Seminoles by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly five runs.

Cole Udell tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Elijah Prisciandaro was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Louis Hernandez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Lake Mary hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.

Lake Mary's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Seminole, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-19.

Coming up, Lake Mary will take on Apopka at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Darters' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Seminole does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
