The Fortune Early College Panthers won against the Westlake Charter Explorers on Tuesday with 93 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Fortune Early College simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Westlake Charter 93-56 at home. Winning may never get old, but Fortune Early College sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Fortune Early College's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mekhi Tanner, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Omarion Davis, who scored 14 points.
Fortune Early College is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Westlake Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fortune Early College will take on Leroy Greene Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westlake Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Elite at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
