After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shadow Ridge, Sunnyslope was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Gila Ridge Hawks as the Sunnyslope Vikings made off with a 12-1 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

On the hitting side, Sunnyslope let Camden Grove and Bryan Mares run wild. Grove went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs, while Mares scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
