The Arizona College Prep Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Notre Dame Prep Saints at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Arizona College Prep 3.6, Notre Dame Prep 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Arizona College Prep was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Sunrise Mountain on Monday. The Knights blew past the Mustangs 14-7. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 17 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Arizona College Prep got a great performance from Ava Moynihan as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave Moynihan a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Shelby O'Donnal was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Rachel Cain also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Arizona College Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sunrise Mountain only posted an OBP of .371.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame Prep waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Colts by a score of 7-2.
Marley Caldwell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Notre Dame Prep let Maggie Spokas and Mia Brooks run wild. Spokas went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Brooks went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Sammy Swords was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Arizona College Prep's record now sits at 21-5. As for Notre Dame Prep, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
