The Ridgevue Warhawks came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to Emmett for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-25 victory on the road. Ridgevue pushed the score to 60-25 by the end of the third, a deficit Emmett had no chance of recovering from.
It was another big night for Javonte Boles, who scored 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Gavin Joseph malvini was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Ridgevue pushed their record up to 12-6 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Emmett, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgevue will take on Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ridgevue is facing Caldwell at the right time seeing as Caldwell is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Emmett, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Vallivue at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Vallivue focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Monday.
