Everything went Camp Verde's way against Valley Lutheran last Friday as the squad secured a 36-0 win. With Camp Verde ahead 20-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, if Red Rock were riding high off their 41-14 takedown of Rock Point two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Red Rock lost to Glendale Prep Academy by a decisive 21-40 margin.
Camp Verde's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Red Rock's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll see if Camp Verde's success rolls on or if Red Rock are able to steal their positive momentum.
