Sadly, the Dunbar Wildcats are still looking for their first win of the season after seven matches. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 10-0 walloping at the hands of Benbrook on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dunbar of the 16-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Benbrook used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Dunbar. And. Shyanne Morris made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal and an assist. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
Dunbar dropped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Benbrook, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Diamond Hill-Jarvis the next time they take the pitch. Benbrook will head out to face Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Dunbar will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
