Calhoun has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Seymour Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seymour took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Calhoun, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Calhoun strolled past the Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 38-22.
Meanwhile, Seymour's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. The contest between them and Greenfield/Northwestern wasn't particularly close, with Seymour falling 55-38.
Calhoun is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. As for Seymour, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-24.
Everything came up roses for Calhoun against the Indians when the teams last played back in February of 2016 as the squad secured a 72-26 victory. With Calhoun ahead 44-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.
