Dale County moved up to 205 from 238 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region 2. The Warriors climbed the ranks as a result of topping Geneva 35-13.
Daleville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Barbour County, 21-18. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Warhawks.
Slocomb's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Tops feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Hagler has thrown for 705 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Ehren Faison has 22 catches for 585 yards. Robert Smith leads the league in rushing with 745 yards.
Abbeville led 3A Region 2 in scoring this week after putting up 36 points on Montgomery Catholic.
