Walden Grove better keep an eye on Cisco Llamas. He was instrumental in Sahuaro's win, almost dropping a double-double on 28 points and nine assists. Llamas has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last nine times he's played. Elijah Santini was another key player, going 6 of 8 on his way to 13 points.
Sahuaro pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Walden Grove, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Walden Grove and Sahuaro are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. However, it's not like Sahuaro struggles in that department as they've been averaging 67.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Walden Grove came up short against Sahuaro in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 66-62. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Llamas, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 steals.
