The Wamogo Warriors will head out on the road to  challenge  the Nonnewaug Chiefs at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 Wamogo will head into Monday's  match out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune  last Monday. They lost  15-4 to Canton. Wamogo's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Nonnewaug gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. They blew past Terryville 12-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Nonnewaug considering their one-run performance the  contest before.
  Lucas Savarese made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Savarese was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Brayden Altieri and  Derek Chung did most of the damage at the plate:  Altieri  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-3, while  Chung  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Altieri is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Henry Keil, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Wamogo's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Nonnewaug, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record  this season.
 Wamogo skirted past Nonnewaug  5-4 in their previous meeting  back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wamogo since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
