Regis Jesuit has gone a perfect 9-0 against Rock Canyon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Regis Jesuit Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Rock Canyon Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Regis Jesuit's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
Regis Jesuit is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Heritage 83-18 on Tuesday. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Eagles are ranked 169th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Regis Jesuit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jane Rumpf, who went 8-for-13 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds. The match was Rumpf's third in a row with at least 18 points. Mallory Neff was another key player, shooting 4-for-7 from deep and almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine boards.
Regis Jesuit was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage only four assists.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rock Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Castle View 69-31. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Sabercats: they've now won three in a row.
Regis Jesuit better keep an eye on Brooke Harding. She was instrumental in Rock Canyon's win, going 9-for-13 to rack up 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Harding has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Maze, who posted 11 points.
Rock Canyon pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points over those games. As for Regis Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Regis Jesuit has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 34.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Rock Canyon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything went Regis Jesuit's way against Rock Canyon in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Regis Jesuit made off with a 73-48 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Regis Jesuit since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
