The Archbishop Carroll Lions put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Georgetown Visitation Prep with  points to spare, taking the game  52-37. For Archbishop Carroll, this counts as revenge for the   54-34 defeat Georgetown Visitation Prep walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in February of 2019.
 Archbishop Carroll found their leader in underclassman  Nyair McCoy, who  scored 15 points along with nine  assists and six  steals. The  match was  McCoy's third in a row with at least ten points.  Aliyah Duncan was another key contributor,  scoring 14 points along with five  rebounds.
 Archbishop Carroll pushed their record up to 6-0 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 2-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Carroll will be home for the holidays to greet  Saint John Paul the Great Catholic at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Hopefully Saint John Paul the Great Catholic focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 36 on Saturday. Georgetown Visitation Prep will be home for the holidays to greet  Goretti at 12:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
