Andress' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paula Wilson, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Those three blocks set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Camila Limas, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Andress' victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Ysleta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Andress will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Parkland at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Ysleta, they will head out on the road to face off against Burges at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Burges focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
