Basketball Game Preview: Peachtree Academy Panthers vs. New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders

Peachtree Academy is 0-5 against New Creation Christian Academy since December of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. It was a proper cat-fight when Peachtree Academy took on Trinity Christian School of Griffin on Monday. Peachtree Academy took a hard 73-57 fall against Trinity Christian School of Griffin. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Peachtree Academy got top-tier performance from Julian Baluta, who went 8 of 18 en route to 27 points. Those 27 points gave Baluta a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Jackson, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, New Creation Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt an 86-57 loss at the hands of Creekside Christian Academy. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-22.

New Creation Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Peachtree Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Peachtree Academy was taken down by New Creation Christian Academy 70-33 in their previous matchup back in December of 2021. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Peachtree Academy was down 36-10.
