Northern Nash's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jah'Marzea Williams, who went 9-for-10 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. That's the most boards Williams has posted since back in November of 2024. CJ Rosser Jr. was another key player, going 7-for-17 to rack up 25 points.
Northern Nash smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Franklinton sidestepped Southern Nash for a 61-58 win.
Northern Nash better keep an eye on Zymir Lipscomb. He was instrumental in Franklinton's win, putting up 16 points and three steals. They are undefeated when Lipscomb posts 15 or more points, but 8-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kirby Ransom, who earned nine points and six rebounds.
Northern Nash pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.4 points. As for Franklinton, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
Everything came up roses for Northern Nash against Franklinton in their previous meeting last Friday, as the team secured an 89-55 victory. In that contest, Northern Nash amassed a halftime lead of 46-21, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
