They took a 40-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. Royal Palm Beach just can't catch a break and has now endured nine losses in a row.
Leonard found their leader in underclassman Euterria Davis, who scored 23 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of Leonard's points. Jenea D was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven steals.
Royal Palm Beach has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Leonard, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Royal Palm Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Leonard will face off against the Broncos at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palm Beach Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Lancers in Florida (the Broncos are ranked 162nd, while the Lancers are ranked 506th).
