Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hudson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reno Ferri, who rushed for 112 yards on only 13 carries, and also caught one score. They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hudson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in four consecutive contests.
Hudson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Louie Castellarin, Anthony Paolucci, and Kyler Boyle picked up one apiece.
Hudson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points over those games. As for South, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
Looking ahead, Hudson will challenge Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
